friday.....................and not much to say

Thursday we didn’t have therapy because our speech therapist was out of the office today. Theresa didn’t noticed yet since she’s caught up in her V-Reader at the moment. She’s took the time to enjoy her day off. Lately Theresa has taken to hitting people in the face. I’m not sure why she’s doing it all the time but at times the reason is clear. She does not like people touching her things. I can’t say much about that because I don’t particularly care for it either. I’m not sure why but I’ve always found it rude when people look through people’s things without asking them first. I was exhausted and would have loved to lie down to take a nap but I couldn’t. I managed to finish two articles yesterday morning and that was it. I managed to get my hub in the newsletter for hubpages and that’s a good thing. The traffic to that particular hub is rising and now I just have to figure out how to finish the hub that I am currently working on and find a subject for the next one. We have speech t...

Preparing for Guests Early

OK I'll have at least one guest sooner than I originally planned and that's alright. I know that we have things to get done but Theresa needs social interaction very badly and the guest that I have coming adores her. She's a good kid too, actually polite which is rare with kids these days. I have been going over finances and I have come to the conclusion that I have to take out a loan which isn't surprising. The highlight of my week was a nomination for  this hubpage  as a  hubnugget . That means it's good, and I'm proud of it. I have no idea when the results come in but I'll be glad when they do. I'm thinking about a title loan to get through the end of this month which will make next month harder to get through and mean that I have to do more work than I would but it'll be worth.

Time to Cut the Grass

Actually it's past time to cut the grass but the heat and the rain won't cooperate to get it cut. While we got a short light shower today the local weather man just said that it's moving toward the sea which means the rains that develop will last a bit longer. The bad news is that it's supposed to get hotter and the humidity will be bad. Tomorrow is supposed to be 97 degrees and the heat indexes this week are supposed to make it feel like 107. That means I have to be extra careful while I'm cutting the grass. I also get to watch gas prices for the best times to buy gas for the car and the lawnmower. According to news reports tonight gas is supposed to go back up to $4 a gallon. That means I have to get some things in my yard that can be taken care of to cut down on the amount of grass to cut and provide us with a little bit of food. Well, it's not raining at the moment and I have yard work to do before it gets dark. I have a lot to do in order to prepare for...
