Sensory Overload

We like to keep to ourselves for a number of reasons. Namely sensory overload. This is when all of your senses work at once and you cannot shut anything out. Let's see what happens when we can't get rid of the sights, sounds and smells.

There are those that do not understand and never will. It is a world of judgement that we live in, and people are quick to judge what they do not understand. When you need space people take it personally, and talk out the wrong end.

Funny though they cannot seem to find the courage to say what they would post to social media to your face. It is amusing to watch the reactions of those that do not understand that those posting do not know what they are posting about. It leads to several others posting out their rear ends in response to the posts.

The two of us have no choice but to shut ourselves off from the world at times. We do not do well with excessive contact with the outside world. I have a diagnosis of panic disorder with agoraphobia. There is an article about it that will explain what I go through daily.

It took years to get my diagnosis and now that I have it I am doing better. Well, sort of. I try. Now it's time to go back to reality.

She's Making Request!!!

We've come a long way from where we started all those years ago. My autistic angel was once mute, now we have spontaneous speech and request!! She made one at school to buy a snack!

Left

The statue was becoming discolored from the rain, green and blue blotches were everywhere. Frustration was taking its toll on the artist as he tried to match the original color with only an ounce left in the can. The feedback on the original concept had been mixed at best and now the rains had left him with a disaster threatening his career.
What is the statue of? Why is the discoloration causing the creator so much concern?
The word is Left, and this flash comes in at 62 of 75 word limit. Go over to M3 for the official rules and this quarters words for Finding the Path.

Hot Flash!

“No, it’s too hot.”
“You’re delusional, it’s fine.”
“Not it’s too hot.”
“It’s a tub of ice. It is a reach to say it is hot.”
She walked away and left him sitting there to think about what he was actually trying to say.
----------------------------------------------------------------- Why is there a tub of ice there? Is something wrong with him? Who is she? ______________________________________ The word is reach.
