Prompt: Junk Drawer

There is one thing everyone, no mattter how neat has in common. It is the junk drawer, it's contents are often random but sometimes they can say something about the owner. What does mine say about me? Not a lot since it's contents are rarely used even though it is opened often when searching for items that are lost.

So just what is in my junk drawer?

  • A flathead screwdriver
  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • batteries
  • remote
  • battery chargers
  • threading tape
  • various samples

Looking there is nothing really needed in the junk drawer except the batteries and screwdrivers. So why exactly do I keep a junk drawer? It is the smallest drawer in my kitchen.

What is in your junk drawer? Is any of it useful or merely things that you keep just to keep?

Crystal (100)

He kept shouting out over the newscaster. The noise was ringing in her ears, making her head pound and her ears build pressure. Blood pressure rising with her temper she picked up the glass and flung it. “What the hell are you doing?” “Trying to get you to shut up.” “You could have killed me.” “It’d have been better than breaking my crystal.” _________________________________________________________________________________ Who is she? Why would she rather kill him then break her crystal? The word is crystal . The limit for this post was 100 words, this one comes in at 63. Click the link to be taken to M3 and the official rules.
