Waitress (100)

The doors were still locked for another twenty minutes but there was a line around the block. Hundreds had shown up for the grand opening and they looked hungry. The capacity was only a hundred people; hopefully the tables would turn quickly.

Wages were low in the area, but so was the cost of living. A decent waitress could make enough to save for retirement without worrying about the bills. She checked her top and unlocked the doors.

What is so special that there is a line around the block? Is she checking to make sure her top is buttoned or unbuttoned?

The word is waitress; this post comes in at 78 words which is less than the 100 word limit. Click the link to be taken to the instructions.

First Full Day of Christmas Vacation!!!

Here's hoping that Vacation is better than the weeks leading up to it. Let me fill you in on the events since Thanksgiving and you'll understand why I am hoping it is better or at least illness free. Not only has my mini me been sick but it's put me under the weather as well.

Almost Vacation Time!!

Tomorrow is the last day of school before Christmas Vacation! It's only a half day so that means today is my last chance to ensure everything is completed before then. Theresa has already made the mandatory cookie purchase for Santa Clause.
